HHP: Limit is 20. For HHP this year the HHP entry fees must be in by closing (7/18/2005) or the entry will not be included in the show catalog and your cat will not be entered in the show.

 

Show Hours: Check-in Saturday from 8:30-9:30 am Judging begins promptly at 10:00 am.  Official Show Hours are from 10 am - 5 pm on Saturday and 9 am - 4 pm on Sunday.

 

Show Hall:  Cahaba Shrine Temple.  LOTS OF FREE PARKING and RV Park. Detailed maps will be sent with confirmation.  The show hall is well air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible.  No cats may remain in the show hall overnight.  No smoking is permitted in the show hall. 

 

Transportation:  Motel 6 is less than 3 miles from the airport.  Cab fare from airport to the Motel 6 is around $5.

 

Awards:  All Championship, Premiership, and Kitten entries with their numbers in the catalog will be scored for CFA National/Regional Awards.  Rosettes will be awarded and permanent flats will be used in accordance with CFA rules.

 

General:  This is a CFA licensed show and all CFA show rules will be strictly enforced.  For a copy of these rules, send $3.00 to CFA, PO Box 1005, Manasquan NJ  08736-0805.  The club reserves the right to add judges not named in the show announcement to judge non-championship and non-premiership classes.  Reasonable care will be taken to safeguard the property of exhibitors.  However, the show management and the Cahaba Shrine Temple management will not be held responsible for any loss or damages.

 

Cages/Supplies:  Cages are approximately 24x24x24.  Novice exhibitors bring a towel or a rug to cover the floor and enough material to go around the sides and to cover the top of the cage, along with clips or safety pins to fasten the material securely to the cage.  Litter will be furnished in the show hall.  Bring your own litter box and food.

Miscellaneous: This is a non-vetted show.  All cats should be inoculated by a licensed veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis, calici viruses and rabies, test for FeLV and be free of fleas, fungus, mites, internal/external parasites and contagious diseases.  The show committee reserves the right to remove any cat or kitten from the show hall if suspected of having any of the above ailments until examined by a licensed veterinarian at the owner/agent's expense.  Kittens under 4 months of age will not be permitted in the show hall.  Proof of age may be requested.  All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. The ARK will be providing adult volunteers for stewards. The rescue work they do and the support given to the CFA and our club is greatly appreciated by our club and the community.
